A cottage is built for the lady that manages Ara-Ho Inn. It later becomes the boys employee dorm, then sits vacant for several years and is remodeled in 1994 as Ara-Ho Cottage.

Banks reportedly owned a dozen area hotels that went bankrupt in the early 1930's.
Oscar and Hans Holl purchased the former Ara-Ho Inn from Oneida National Bank.
 "Oscar said their first year was pretty quiet - not much business. But it got busy the second year" Rosemary Holl recalls, "And it has been ever since!" she likes to add.
Annex Rooms A-L are fashioned from a boathouse that was moved up from the lakefront.
Alpine House is built in mid-1940's on site of old Garvey Camp as Hans & Oscar's home.
A barn is built that would later become the girls employee dorm, then sit vacant until it was remodeled in 1994 to become Hemlock House.
Rosemary arrives to work as Dining Room Hostess
Oscar buys out Hans. Hans buys Albedor, a stunning property across Fourth Lake to the NE.
Oscar & Rosemary get married.
A caretaker cottage is built at the East end of the Annex and occupied for 25 years.
It's later moved to become the front half of newly remodeld Birch Cottage in 1995.
Rosemary rents out Alpine House for the first time - for only $500/week!
Hans sells Albedor and buys Dibble's Inn in Vernon.
Annex Extension Rooms M-S are built on a bluff over the lakefront.
Rooms 101-107 are built, connecting the Hotel and Annex.
A storage barn is built near the beach and is remodeled in 1995 as Beach House.
Oscar passes away.
Ara-Ho, Beach, Birch and Hemlock are fashioned from the remodeling of existing structures.
Holl's Inn celebrates another beautiful Summer.
